Girls Assemble are on a mission to empower girls, invite them into STEM industries, and shatter stereotypes. Well we can certainly get on board with that!

The organisation offers a variety of workshops, such as hands-on after school sessions for girls aged 9-12. Each session offers focused instruction in one skill area, from carpentry and design to activist art and advanced print-making. Their programs are free or low cost and focus on supporting under served girls throughout Cornwall.

Girls Assemble provide space of several forms so that girls are seen, supported, and invited to shape their own world.

Led by skilled female builders and instructors, girls learn the industry relevant techniques, terminology, and problem-solving skills that set them up for success in our projects and their future careers. Mentorship plays a key role in Girls Assemble activites, as each girl's unique skills are recognised and supported by experience staff.
